A few travel companies and search engines, including Google and Delta Airlines, have released their lists of the most searched travel destinations of 2024. We’ve compared the destinations highlighted in Google and Delta’s lists to give you the top travel destinations for summer 2024.
The Delta search data consists of people in the US searching from Nov. 1, 2023, to March 18, 2024, for travel between May and August 2024. Google’s top list reflects people in the US searching on Google Flights for travel anytime between June 1 through August 31, 2024.
1) London
A popular travel destination in past summers as well, London is full of activities and sightseeing adventures such as the Tower of London, The Palace of Westminster, Hampton Court Palace, Buckingham Palace, The London Eye, and more. Art and history lovers can will also enjoy The British Museum, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Science Museum, and the Natural History Museum. Nature-loving travelers will also enjoy a stroll through Kew Gardens or Hyde Park.
2) Paris
Another great destination for art lovers, travelers planning to visit this city in 2024 could check out the popular museums such as the D’Orsay or the Louvre or one of the city’s many smaller galleries. There are a few small theaters that offer plays with English subtitles so that English-speaking audiences can enjoy the show just as much as locals. 5) Tokyo
